Capture Elements

📘

Capture any UI element from any website as real HTML — then use it to build in Playground.

Grab buttons, cards, forms, navigation bars, or any UI pattern from the web using the Anima Chrome Extension. Unlike screenshots, captures include real HTML structure, CSS properties, and element hierarchy.

Install the Chrome Extension →

How it works

  1. Browse normally — Find UI elements you like on any website
  2. Click to capture — Select elements directly on the page using the extension
  3. Build your library — Captures save with HTML structure, styles, and properties
  4. Implement in Playground — Attach any capture to your prompt and ask Anima to build it

Works on any site — login-protected pages, internal tools, localhost. If your browser can render it, Capture Element can grab it.

What you can capture

UI components

  • Buttons, forms, and input fields
  • Cards, modals, and navigation bars
  • Tables, charts, and data visualizations

Layout patterns

  • Hero sections and feature grids
  • Pricing tables and comparison layouts
  • Footer structures and sidebar designs

Design details

  • Icons and illustrations
  • Typography treatments
  • Color and spacing relationships

Using captures in Playground

Open your captures in the chat input toolbar:

  1. Click the folder icon to open the Clipboard Gallery
  2. Select a capture to attach it to your prompt
  3. Ask Anima to build it — for example: "Build a card like this" or "Use this button style"

Anima understands the structure and properties, not just the appearance.
