# Training data and privacy

Learn about how Anima handles your data and privacy.

## Data Controls

Anima uses anonymized data to train our AI and make it better for all users. This is completely optional, and you can switch it off at any time.

### How to manage your data settings

1. Open the left panel and click the cogwheel icon next to the team name
2. Go to **Data controls**
3. Toggle **"Help improve the model for everyone"** on or off

When enabled, your anonymized usage data helps improve the AI for everyone. When disabled, your data is not used for training.

## Your control

* **Opt-out anytime** — Toggle the setting off whenever you want
* **No impact on service** — Opting out doesn't affect your access to any features
* **Team-level setting** — Each team can manage their own data preferences
